High-quality branded title vehicles at unbeatable prices, combined with a process that puts the customer first.As the Payroll Clerk, you will assist the Payroll Department in ensuring accuracy in timecards, following up with employees and managers alike.Location & Schedule:Woods Cross, UTFull-TimeMonday - Friday8:00 AM - 4:00 PMDuties & Responsibilities:In this role you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following job duties:Assist in semi-monthly payroll functionsAssists the Payroll Manager in assigned tasksCompiles and enters payroll data, such as hours worked, sales or piecework, taxes, insurance, union dues to be withheld, and employee identification number from time sheets and other records; ensures employees are paid accurately and on time; and keeps payroll files up to dateChecks time-worked inputs for calculating, coding, or other errors and makes applicable changesUnderstands Federal, State, and local wage and hour policies and employment tax laws; and performs action necessary to determine pay and deductions including Federal and State taxes, insurance, retirement, union dues, savings, and other deductionsAdditional duties as assignedIdeal Qualifications:Associate or Bachelor degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.Two or more years of accounting, payroll, audit, financial analysis, or related experience preferred.Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail and ability to meet month-end deadlines.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Requirements:Valid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to pass a background checkAuthorized to work in the United StatesRequirement of Multi-Factor Authentication apps on cell phonePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods sitting at a worksite desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.Benefits:Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage, HSA match, and Employer-paid Life InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program: For personal support and resourcesAdditional Perks: Pet Insurance, Gym Discounts & an Employee Vehicle Purchase ProgramRetirement Savings: Employer matching contributionsPaid Time Off: Among the best PTO policies in the automotive industryWork Environment:Onsite desk setup to assist in-person employees and departmentsAutoSavvy provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.All offers of employment at AutoSavvy are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check and motor vehicle report (MVR).
