A day in the life:
The Payroll Coordinator supports the Payroll Director by managing full-cycle payroll administration. This role is responsible for collecting and processing timesheets, distributing payroll checks, and maintaining confidential records while ensuring accuracy and compliance. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve payroll inquiries efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
What you'll do as an Exceptional Team Member
Compile and input payroll data: employees+
Collect timesheets ensuring they are completed accurately
Manage ePay
Contact Supervisors regarding missed timecards
Distributing payroll checks (organizing mailing, federal express, etc.)
Maintain and organize confidential payroll files
Answer payroll inquiries and resolve all discrepancies as they arise
Wage and verification of employment processing to include housing forms, mortgages, etc.
What you'll need to be an Extraordinary Team Member
Minimum of 2 years' experience in Payroll Department
Associates Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to maintain confidential information
Must be extremely detail orientated and have excellent mathematical abilities
Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Windows environment with a concentrated proficiency in MS Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping
