Payroll/Human ResourcesStaff Relationships: This person is directly responsible to the Director of FinanceQualifications: Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience, 2 years payroll experience and 2 years HR experience.Required Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of local, state, and federal requirements relating to payroll issues and reportsKnowledge of payroll accounting and auditing principlesEffective public relations and interpersonal skillsProficiency skills in keyboarding and file maintenanceAbility to adhere to all deadlinesAbility to work with numbers in an accurate and rapid mannerAbility to use software to develop spreadsheets, databases and do word processingAbility to maintain accurate and auditable recordsHigh levels of organization, customer service, detailed documentation procedures, communication, accountability and initiative requiredTerms of Employment:Salary based on experience and in accordance with RISD Salary Schedule ($46,428-$66,428)226 days (12 months)Applicants for all positions are considered without regard to race, color, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, religion, age, disability, genetic information, veteran or military status, or any other legally protected status.
