Payroll Processor OpportunityPayroll Vault Fort Collins is a locally owned payroll company providing personalized payroll services to small and medium-sized businesses. As a Payroll Processor, you'll play an important role in our day-to-day operations, build trusted relationships with clients, and contribute to the supportive, team-oriented culture we value.As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Payroll Processor who is comfortable working in a high-volume environment, managing multiple client accounts, and providing responsive, personalized service. You will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time across multiple client accounts while helping clients navigate payroll questions, changes, and system needs. You should be comfortable learning and navigating payroll technology, troubleshooting issues, and helping clients through system changes. This role is best suited for someone who can balance accuracy with efficiency and who is comfortable managing a large number of client accounts at the same time.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Process full-cycle payroll for multiple small and medium-sized business clientsServe as a primary point of contact for clients regarding payroll processing and payroll-related questionsManage payroll processing across a high-volume client portfolioSupport the transition of client accounts to the iSolved payroll platformCollect, review, compile, and enter payroll dataCalculate and review payroll deductions, taxes, and other payroll adjustmentsInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies and processing errorsProcess new hires, terminations, transfers, promotions, and employee changesMaintain accurate employee and payroll recordsPrepare and submit W-2 and W-3 forms within required deadlinesCommunicate with clients regarding missing information, deadlines, corrections, and payroll changesTroubleshoot payroll software and client account issuesManage multiple payroll deadlines and priorities at the same timeWhat You Need:At least 3 years of payroll processing experience is strongly requiredExperience processing payroll for multiple clients simultaneously requiredExperience working in a high-volume payroll environment requiredStrong understanding of full-cycle payroll processing requiredAbility to manage a large portfolio of client accounts requiredStrong computer and payroll software skills requiredAbility to work accurately while maintaining a high level of efficiency requiredStrong written and verbal client communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and follow-throughAbility to work independently in a remote environmentAbility to pass a background checkPreferred Qualifications:Experience with iSolvedExperience managing portfolios of high-volume payroll clientsExperience with prevailing wage calculations, certified payroll reporting, and local wage determinationsAPA certification such as CPP or FPCBachelor's degreeYou'll Probably Enjoy This Role If You Are:Comfortable managing a high volume of workNaturally notice small details and inconsistenciesLike working with systems, software, and numbersCan move quickly without becoming carelessEnjoy helping clients solve problemsAre comfortable switching between multiple clients and deadlines throughout the dayTake ownership of your work and follow through without needing constant remindersCan work independently while still communicating closely with a teamWhat Success Looks Like:Process payroll accurately and consistently across a large client portfolioStay ahead of deadlines without sacrificing attention to detailManage multiple client needs and payroll cycles efficientlyIdentify and resolve payroll discrepancies before they create larger issuesCommunicate clearly and professionally with clientsNavigate payroll technology confidently and troubleshoot issues independentlySupport clients effectively during the transition to iSolvedMaintain productivity while managing a high volume of payroll accountsCompensation & Benefits:Pay: $35–$37 per hour, depending on experienceSchedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM MT, with up to 1 hour of flexibility (Hybrid option available for CO residents)Healthcare reimbursement benefitsPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysRetirement benefitsGrowth Opportunities for advancement into leadership and management rolesWhat to Expect in the Hiring Process:Hire With Ease is assisting Payroll Vault Fort Collins with the initial hiring process for this position.
