$70,000 – $78,000
Are you a payroll professional with strong prevailing wage and construction payroll experience? We’re looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist who can confidently manage payroll from start to finish while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.

Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist
Process full-cycle payroll for employees working on prevailing wage and construction projects
Prepare and maintain certified payroll reports and ensure compliance with applicable wage requirements
Review timesheets, hours, deductions, benefits, and payroll adjustments for accuracy
Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on schedule while maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations
Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee questions
Maintain accurate payroll records and support payroll audits
Work closely with HR, accounting, project teams, and field employees to resolve issues
Stay current on prevailing wage, certified payroll, and payroll compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist
1+ years of payroll experience, preferably in construction
Hands-on experience with prevailing wage and certified payroll
