Payroll Specialist Opportunity
A regional healthcare provider is seeking two experienced Payroll Specialists to support a temporary payroll project. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Ideal candidates will have high-volume payroll processing, advance MS Excel and technical skills in multiple payroll systems (Heartland a plus). Candidates must have immediate and flexible schedule availability.
Schedule must be flexible to work either a 6:00 AM or 2:00 PM shift. Flexibility to accommodate shift changes and business needs is required.
Pay range:
$30-$35/hour DOE
Temporary assignment expected to last 1-2 months. Immediate availability required.

Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll accurately and timely for a large employee population.
Audit payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and payroll-related inquiries.
Ensure compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
Partner with HR and Finance teams to support payroll operations and project deliverables.
Support payroll system updates, testing, and process improvement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
3+ years of high-volume payroll processing experience.
Advanced payroll systems experience required.
Experience with Heartland Payroll strongly preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required, including reporting, formulas, and data analysis.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal training.
Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
Must be available to start and commit to the project for up to 2 months minimum.
