The Payroll Specialist should be a trustworthy and efficient individual who wants to grow their knowledge and skills of payroll accounting in an energetic, innovative and fast paced environment.Position Overview: The Payroll Specialist will support the Human Resources and Accounting departments with handling company payroll, benefit processing, and other related work. The Payroll Specialist should be super personable and be able to work independently as well as with a team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Payroll Specialist to gain invaluable experience in payroll with a growing and developing company.Responsibilities:Managing high volume semi-monthly payrollEnsure compliance with company policies and regulationsData entry and handling of new hire paperworkTime card auditing and PTO recordingEmployee benefits and 401k adjustments and processingInformation filing and reportingAssist employees with Payroll informationTaxation preparationExpense reportingInter-department communication within the companyQualificationsEducation Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or EconomicsQualifications:1 to 3 years of payroll experienceExperience working in QuickBooksProficient in Excel (formulas, v-lookups, pivot tables) Strong attention to detail and ability to multitaskCustomer Service ExperienceExcellent written and verbal communication skills Positive attitude and professionalMust have experience doing ADP payrollMust have experience with ADP Workforce Now
