Job description
Payroll SpecialistHelp in process bi-weekly payroll for Ridley's employees. Maintain personnel database. Monitor organization budget and expenses. Report to various members of management regarding daily activities and issues. Work directly with management to achieve organization goals as required. Address and resolve employee issues relating to the payroll system. Work with company database programs to process payroll. Prepare reports for relevant departments about payroll, company budget, and expenses. Responding to unemployment claims and appealing when necessary. Employment verifications.High school diploma or equivalent required. Proven experience in a payroll position in a fast-paced environment preferred. Proficiency using single database HRIS/payroll systems required, experience with Paylocity strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of wage and tax laws. Good understanding of the common fiscal procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications. Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.PTO. Sick time. 401K with Employer Match.
