Title: Payroll Analyst
Duration: 6 to 12 months
Location: Houston, TX
Pay range: $30/hr to $60/hr
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end, in-house payroll across 4 sites, ensuring adherence to rules, regulations, taxes, and compliance.
Provide general ledger information to the accounting team for auditing purposes.
Handle day-to-day payroll problem-solving, including payroll corrections, reviewing/verifying physical results, and making necessary adjustments.
Perform basic accounting tasks, such as bank reconciliations and financial adjustments.
Proactively identify issues, ask questions, and collaborate flexibly with different teams and schedules in a changing work environment.
Must-Haves : Education: Bachelor's degree.
Experience: 4-5 years of hands-on experience in payroll processing.
Workday Expertise: Solid end-to-end, in-house payroll experience using Workday.
Workday System Capabilities: Proficiency in managing earnings, configurations, transmitting integrations, running categories, deduction codes, and earnings codes.
Accounting Fundamentals: Practical knowledge of basic accounting principles and bank reconciliations.
