Payroll SpecialistKennewick, WAMonday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PMPay: $25+ depending on your experienceWe are actively recruiting candidates for our clients.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner.- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.- Maintain accurate employee records, including timesheets, deductions, and tax information.- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing excellent customer service.- Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.- Collaborate with the HR team to facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.- Generate payroll reports and assist with audits as required.- Stay current on payroll processing trends and best practices.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred.- Proven experience in payroll processing or payroll-related roles.- Proficiency in payroll software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite.- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.- Effective communication
