** Epic HR LLC is now hiring a Payroll Specialist ** in Lacey, WA .
** Pay Rate: ** $23
** Schedule: ** 1st Shift
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities: **
Reviews staff agency daily attendance for Service Center.
Review and submit attendance reports to management for approval weekly.
Oversees puller incentives to ensure accuracy.
Processes bi-weekly payroll before the Paychex deadline on Mondays at 2:30 PM PST.
Prepares weekly payroll cost report for Admin-Accounting for weekly reporting needs before Tuesdays at 9:00 AM.
Provides customer services to employees’ payroll inquiries and requests.
Reviews, research, and approves agency PAR and payroll action requests.
Audits weekly agency and labor-related invoices.
Assist with other duties assigned.
** Education and/or Experience: **
3 years’ experience with Payroll or similar background preferred
** Computer Skills: **
Strong computer skills required; excellent with Excel and all Microsoft automation
Reasoning Ability:
Must be able to interact with all levels of management and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to manage and lead a diverse workforce.
Good organizational skills
Knowledge of distribution center operations
Strong sense of teamwork
Able to adhere to strict deadlines
