Salary Range: $48,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Mattawan region seeking Payroll Specialists. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

Process weekly payroll for all hourly and salaried employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Manage timekeeping system, verify hours, and address employee inquiries regarding pay or deductions.

Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments, in compliance with federal and state regulations.

Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports, ensuring adherence to all deadlines.

Reconcile payroll accounts and general ledger entries, identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Administer new hire setup, employee changes, and terminations within the payroll system.

Generate various payroll reports for management, HR, and finance departments.

Recommended Qualifications 3+ years of experience processing payroll for 500+ employees in a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrated proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar enterprise payroll software.

In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, including multi-state payroll.

Experience with time and attendance systems and their integration with payroll.

Strong understanding of leave policies, deductions, and wage garnishments specific to a manufacturing workforce.
