Key Responsibilities of the Payroll Specialist
Process payroll accurately and timely for multiple companies and operating entities.
Review and audit employee time records, compensation changes, new hires, and terminations.
Respond to payrollrelated inquiries, support onboarding tasks, and maintain employee payroll data.
Prepare payroll reports, support quarterly and annual payroll tax filings, and coordinate audit documentation.
Collaborate with Accounting, HR, and leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and alignment across payroll processes.
Qualifications for the Payroll Specialist Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or Payroll Analyst; Paylocity experience required.
Strong understanding of payroll fundamentals, workers' compensation, and payroll regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll systems; strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
