Job description
Payroll SpecialistProvide support to employers contracting with the Agency to receive payroll services for their Direct Support Workers. Assist SKIL Fiscal Agent manager with payroll functions through the Agency's computerized accounting system. Match time worked in the State's Authenticare System with approved Plan of Care hours submitted to the Agency.Essential Job FunctionsConfirm time worked in the State's Authenticare System has been approved according to the employer's Plan of Care.Review hours worked by each Direct Support Worker verifying that hours worked do not overlap or go over the Plan of Care.Match hours in Authenticare System with hours showing in Agency's computerized accounting system and work with SKIL Fiscal Agent manager in resolving discrepancies.Assist Direct Support Workers with questions by phone or in office.Send out reminders and notifications to employers and Direct Support Workers of information and changes the State makes with the various program waivers.Job RequirementsAt least 18 years of ageClear required background checksHave experience with payroll and be knowledgeable with various computer programsHave strong customer service skills and be detail oriented with payroll functions.Benefits of working as a full-time Payroll SpecialistFull-time position located in Parsons SKIL OfficePaid Sick/Personal and Vacation timePaid HolidaysHealth InsuranceLife Insurance403B Retirement PlanAssurity Supplemental Plans
