Job description
Payroll SpecialistOur client, located in Rockwall, is looking for a Payroll Specialist to join their team on a contract basis for the next 1-3 months with the possibility for contract-to-hire. Keys:2+ years of payroll experience managing high-volume, multi-state payrollExperience with eEmpACT and/or Worklio highly preferred; Claude Cowork experience is a plusExperience within the staffing, Employer of Record (EOR), or PEO industry preferred, including exposure to multi-state payrollHighly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to accurately manage large volumes of payroll data and consistently meet weekly deadlinesStrong client service and communication skills, with the ability to serve as a primary payroll contact, resolve discrepancies, and respond professionally to client and employee inquiriesStrong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's/ pivot tables) and working with data from multiple sources
