This highly visible position will partner closely with Human Resources, Finance, and operational leaders to ensure payroll is processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with all applicable regulations and collective bargaining agreements.ResponsibilitiesProcess high-volume payroll for union and non-union employees across multiple U.S. states and CanadaPrepare and process certified payroll and all required weekly and monthly reportingAdminister multi-state, multi-union payroll while ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreementsMaintain employee payroll records, earnings, deductions, garnishments, taxes, and benefit withholdingsPrepare union reports, remittances, and government filings accurately and on timePartner with HR and Finance regarding payroll changes, audits, and compliance initiativesAssist with internal and external payroll audits by providing supporting documentation and analysisStay current on payroll legislation, tax regulations, labor requirements, and Canadian payroll requirementsIdentify opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and overall efficiency
