Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join their client's team in Tulare County. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, industry experience, and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with payroll expertise, particularly those with experience in the construction or skilled trades environment.
Responsibilities
Manage payroll and related administrative processes efficiently.
Track employee time and material transactions accurately.
Utilize mobile applications for employees to log into jobs, log out, record time worked, and track materials used.
Work closely with the Contracting Department to support daily operations.
Possess knowledge of prevailing wage requirements.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth payroll operations.
Adapt to a dynamic work environment and find solutions for payroll challenges.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in handling payroll data.
Required Technical Skills
Proficiency in Payroll iSolved.
Experience with Zuper and QuickBooks (QB) is helpful.
Ability to export and manage data in Excel.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, data analysis, and managing large data dumps/files.
Industry Experience Preferred
Experience in construction or skilled trades environments.
Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sheet metal work, HVAC, and underground utilities.
Qualifications
Work Hours: Monday - Friday
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Bilingual candidates are considered a nice-to-have.
Benefits
Competitive hourly pay ranging from $28 to $35, depending on experience.
