We are currently hiring PCA or CNA for In-Home Care (Dementia Care) Every week day and weekend (10:00a - 5:00p) in Herndon, VA. If you’re a compassionate professional looking to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.Position OverviewWe are seeking a reliable, patient, empathetic and experienced CNA / PCA to provide in-home support to a client who is at a moderate stage in their dementia journey including but not limited to showers, meal preparation, and various ADLs. This role offers the opportunity to bring comfort, dignity, and companionship to a client who needs our support. The client can speak English, Cantonese, and Vietnamese, but leans towards Cantonese.Primary ResponsibilitiesProvide respectful and gentle personal careAssist with daily living activities such as hygiene, mobility, and meal preparationIdentify or recommend fun and engaging activities for client based on their interestsOffer companionship and emotional supportMaintain a safe and peaceful home environmentCollaborate with family members and care teams to ensure continuity of careQualificationsActive CNA license in the state of Virginia (preferred) or Experienced PCA or CNA CertifiedExperience with Dementia preferredCompassionate, patient, and emotionally attuned to client needsValid driver’s license and reliable transportationCantonese Speaking PreferredCaregiver BenefitsCompetitive hourly payMileage reimbursement at $0.72/mile for client-related travelPaid training and ongoing professional developmentSupportive team environmentJoin Our Team and Make a Difference in the Lives of Others!Always Best Care of Fairfax is an equal opportunity employer.
