Job description
Mechanical AssemblerFoxconn Industrial Internet (Fii) is a world-leading provider of design and manufacturing services for communication network equipment, cloud infrastructure, precision tools, and industrial robotics. Fii delivers intelligent manufacturing solutions for next-generation electronic products, powered by an Industrial Internet platform.As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and supporting PCBA production as part of the manufacturing line. This role involves using hand and power tools, following detailed work instructions, and ensuring accuracy and quality in all assembly processes. You will work closely with team members to meet production goals and may assist with additional tasks such as material handling, workstation setup, and supporting other manufacturing operations as needed.Responsibilities:Use hand and power tools, fixtures, and equipment to assemble mechanical components and unitsFollow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure product qualityInspect chassis and components for cosmetic and functional defects prior to PCBA installationMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies and safety standardsSupport team production goals and assist with related tasks as neededSkills:Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to read and interpret work orders, assembly drawings, and manufacturing instructionsAccurate documentation and record-keepingAbility to effectively communicate with supervisors and team membersBasic problem-solving skills and sound judgmentKnowledge of manufacturing standards such as ISO 9001, ESD, SPC, and IPC-A-610Strong attention to detail and qualityQualifications:Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience: 1–2 years of experience in a contract manufacturing or PCBA/SMT environment preferredLanguage: English proficiency is required, Mandarin or Vietnamese proficiency is a plus.Foxconn Assembly, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
