Job description
Role: PCU Registered Nurse (RN) in a hospital setting, providing high-quality patient care in acute-care environments.
Key Responsibilities
Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
Monitoring cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
Administering medications, IV therapies, and treatments
Collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
Maintaining accurate electronic medical records
Following infection-control and patient-safety standards
Educating patients and families on care and discharge plans
Adapting to different hospital units and environments
Qualifications & Skills
Active Virginia RN License
Minimum of 2 years recent PCU experience within the past 4 years
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Additional credentials may be required based on facility
