Job Requirements: Qualified MD/DO candidates must be board-certified in Anesthesiology and board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Anesthesiology, with active and ongoing participation in MOCA. Candidates should be comfortable with regional anesthesia. Pediatric anesthesiology fellows completing training in summer 2027 are encouraged to apply.
Job Description: Join a physician-only group where attendings personally deliver 100% of anesthesia care. The University of Colorado Division of Pediatric Anesthesiology, in partnership with Children's Hospital Colorado - Colorado Springs, is adding a full-time pediatric anesthesiologist to its growing faculty.
As Colorado's only pediatric-specialty hospital outside metro Denver, we serve a six-state referral region with a broad case mix: pediatric surgery, ENT (including craniofacial), orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, Level II trauma, and acute pain. Regional anesthesia is part of everyday practice. There is no cardiac, transplant, or burn surgery.
Call is shared equitably across in-house and pager coverage, with weekend call grouped to allow more free weekends. Faculty teach medical students and fellows in the OR; there is no research requirement.
