Job description
We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Cardiologist for a locum opportunity in New Jersey. This assignment offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities while working alongside an established pediatric cardiology team.

September 2026 March 2027
40 hours per week
Inpatient and outpatient coverage
Ongoing call responsibilities
Schedule
Alternating weekly schedule:
Week 1: Inpatient coverage (8:00 AM 4:00 PM) with call
Week 2: Outpatient clinic (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Practice Setting
Pediatric Cardiology
Inpatient and outpatient care
Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
Pediatric cardiology consultations
Outpatient clinic evaluations and follow-up
Inpatient pediatric cardiology management
Shared call coverage
Perform echocardiograms when needed if a sonographer is unavailable
Patient Volume
Approximately outpatient patients per day
Inpatient census varies based on service needs
Team Structure
Two Pediatric Cardiology attending physicians
Multidisciplinary cardiology team
APP support available
Collaborative practice environment
Requirements
MD or DO
Board Certified in Pediatric Cardiology
Active state license required
Comfortable with inpatient, outpatient, and call responsibilities
Epic experience preferred
Credentialing
Temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
