The dental assistant contributes to the financial and non-financial success of the practice by ensuring that patients are the number one priority when they arrive at the practice. Amazing Team You'll be surrounded by professionals who truly care about each other and the families we serve.What We're Looking For:A certified Dental Assistant with a heart for pediatric careSomeone who is patient, energetic, and truly enjoys working with childrenTeam player with a strong work ethic and a can-do attitudeExperience in pediatric dentistry is a plus, but a passion for kidsResponsibilitiesProvides chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists by charting, patient education, operatory set-up and clean-upManages patient flow to ensure efficient appointmentsWelcomes patients and deliver positive patient experiencesCaptures and processes X-RaysEnters patient treatment plans and maintain files at the direction of the DentistCompletes sterilization processes for equipment and operatoriesMonitors all laboratory cases and ensure they are ready for the next day's scheduleQualificationsDental Assisting Certification in the appropriate state from an accredited schoolHigh school diploma or equivalentCoronal Polishing certificate desiredX-Ray certification, or the ability to acquire in a timely mannerNitrous Oxide certificate preferredDetail-oriented with strong patient focusAbility to partner with team and contribute to welcoming environment for patients
