nResponsibilities:
nProvide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection
nDiagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration
nPerform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services
nConsult with other dental specialists when necessary
nSupervise staff
nProvide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances
nAdhere to strict health and safety guidelines
nQualifications
nDDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school is required
nBoard Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
nCurrent state license and Medicaid #
nPrevious experience in clinical or private practice
nCPR, BLS, and NPI certifications
nDeep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends
nExcellent bedside manner
nStrong verbal and written communication skills
