New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding a part‑time Pediatric Dentist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health . South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11‑floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services, from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. The hospital maintains strong academic affiliations with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.

Opportunity Details
Examine and diagnose oro-dental pain and infection using imaging and evaluation techniques.
Perform pediatric dental care such as fluoride treatments, dental sealants, restorative, endodontic, and exodontia using both behavior guidance and sedation as needed.
Collaborate with general dentists and other dental specialists to coordinate patient care.
Supervise, evaluate, and provide constructive feedback of dental residents.
Conduct didactic instruction, including lectures, and case presentations.
Assess resident performance and contribute to formal periodic evaluations.
Ensure OSHA, HIPAA, Joint Commission, and CODA regulations and standards are met.
Qualifications
DMD or DDS degree.
Active New York State Dental License.
Board Certified or Board Eligible through the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $37,000* based on 8-hour work week.
Additional Benefits:
Projected bonus of up to $8,000(based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
401(k) account for Employee Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employeesare immediately vested in their contributions.
Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
