Job Duties
Diagnose and treat pediatric patients in the emergency room.
Develop a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and/or referral.
Confer with consulting physicians, nurses, patients and patients family concerning treatment and care of patients.
Refer cases that require specialist services.
Location
New Orleans, LA.
Education Required
M.D. or D.O.
Other Requirements
License to practice medicine in Louisiana.
Completion of a pediatric emergency medicine fellowship.
