Pediatric Endocrinology opening in Detroit, MI (Permanent)This is a permanent position.Opportunity Details:Full-time employed opportunity within a large, established pediatric endocrinology divisionBlend of academic and clinical responsibilitiesInpatient and outpatient coverage, with minimum of 6 half-day clinics per weekShared call schedule with division members, including weekends and holidaysFaculty appointment with teaching responsibilities in one of the largest pediatric residency programs in the countryCollaborative care with subspecialties including neurosurgery, cardiology, nephrology, hematology/oncology, immunology, and gastroenterologyDivision Overview:Team includes 5 pediatric endocrinologists, 7 diabetes nurse educators, 6 endocrine nurses, 2 dietitians, and a social workerStrong multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered approachOpportunities to contribute to medical education and academic growthRequirements:MD or DO degreeBoard certified or board eligible in Pediatric EndocrinologyFellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology requiredEligible for Michigan medical licenseInterest in academics and medical education preferredCompensation/Benefits:Competitive salary with relocation assistanceComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and retirementMalpractice coverage includedCME allowance and paid time offLocation:Detroit, MI offers a diverse community with cultural, educational, and recreational opportunitiesAffordable cost of living compared to other major metrosAccess to professional sports, music, arts, and revitalized downtown neighborhoodsClose to the Great Lakes for year-round outdoor recreation
