Locums - Long Beach, California, Pediatric Endocrinology Opening
Clinical Role
ASAP start with ongoing needOne Pediatric Endocrinologist neededApproximately 1 week of coverage per monthLocum-to-permanent candidates welcomedCombination of outpatient clinic and inpatient coverageInpatient roundingNewly fellowship-trained physicians may be considered Schedule & Call
Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm during coverage weekApproximately half-day of clinic coverage each dayVideo visits may be incorporated into clinic coverageWeeknight and weekend call during assigned coverage weekCall may include consultations from the Emergency Department, NICU, PICU, and inpatient Hospitalist serviceCallback requirements are currently being determined Practice Setting & Clinical Expectations
Pediatric Endocrinology clinic and inpatient serviceInsulin pump managementContinuous glucose monitoring managementSupervision of infusion center endocrine testing, including stimulation testingEpic experience required Requirements & Credentialing
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric EndocrinologyBoard Eligible candidates must be within the appropriate timeframe to sit for boardsActive California license requiredMinimum 2 years of experience preferred; newly completed fellowship candidates may also be consideredClean background and malpractice history requiredLocal candidates within commuting distance highly preferred What's great about Long Beach, California?
