Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone who worked as a traveler at a facility in this program in the last 3 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: 6 months of pediatric experience required. Vascular procedure experience required. Ultrasound procedure experience required. Portables, inpatient, ER, PICU, NICU, and neonate experience required. Please see unit details/yrs exp for required exp.
Preferred Credentials: Pediatric RDMS certification preferred.
Unit Details: Neonatal, infant, and pediatric patient population. Full general pediatric sonography and full vascular lab. Cases include DVTs, post-PICC-line and IJ evaluations, peripheral vascular studies, ED patients with appendicitis or testicular conditions, portable ICU studies, and liver, kidney, and multiventricular transplant cases. Uses Rad Net.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift lengths may be 8, 10, or 12 hours. Day shifts may be scheduled from 8:00 to 18:00 or 10:00 to 20:00. Up to 3 weeks of night shift. Weekend coverage: up to 4 weekends. Must be available for holidays if the unit needs coverage; may need to work Labor Day weekend. Call required: Possible.
Floating Requirements: Floats from the main unit to ER and possibly to portables, OR, and ICU.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 2 years
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RVT
