Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology Physician Job in Lake Havasu City, Arizona Join a locum tenens Hematology/Oncology physician opportunity in sunny Lake Havasu City, Arizona. This outpatient oncology role offers a consistent weekday schedule, no call, and the chance to provide high-quality cancer care and blood disorder management in a high-volume practice with occasional hospital consults.
Job Details Type: Locum tenens physician opportunity Specialty: Hematology/Oncology Setting: Outpatient oncology clinic with occasional hospital consults Location: Lake Havasu City, Arizona Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks with ongoing coverage needs Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts Call: No call Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,840 to $8,110 Work Environment: High-volume practice with a mix of clinic visits and occasional inpatient support Job Requirements Board certification required Active Arizona medical license or IMLC certification required Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience required Hematology/Oncology fellowship training preferred BLS certification required Comfort managing a busy patient panel in a fast-paced oncology setting Experience with outpatient oncology and occasional hospital consults preferred Responsibilities Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care in the outpatient clinic Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with cancer and blood disorders Manage a high-volume schedule while maintaining excellent patient care Support occasional hospital consults when patients are admitted Collaborate with the care team to coordinate treatment plans and follow-up Document patient encounters accurately and thoroughly Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment Apply now to explore this locum tenens Hematology/Oncology physician job in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and join a dedicated healthcare team serving an active patient community.
