Job Details Position: Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology Physician Location: Pontiac, Michigan Setting: Outpatient hematology and oncology clinic Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday Shift Duration: 8-hour day shifts Shifts Per Week: 3 Call: Clinic call as needed, with optional night call and optional weekend 24-hour call Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,990 - $8,280 Duration: 13 weeks Patient Volume: Approximately 15-20 outpatient visits per day EMR: Cerner Care Focus: Adult outpatient hematology and oncology Job Requirements Board Certified in Hematology and Medical Oncology Active Michigan medical license Minimum of 2 years of experience in Hematology/Oncology BLS and ACLS certification required Experience with Cerner EMR preferred Ability to provide outpatient clinic and clinic call coverage Must be comfortable practicing in a busy adult outpatient setting Responsibilities Provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care See and manage a daily panel of adult oncology patients Support clinic call coverage as needed Participate in tumor board discussions and collaborative care planning Work alongside nursing staff, medical assistants, social workers, dietitians, and nurse navigators Coordinate with onsite support services to ensure seamless patient care Deliver high-quality care in a team-based specialty clinic environment Apply now to learn more about this Hematology/Oncology locum tenens physician job in Pontiac, Michigan.
