Job description
Position: Locum Tenens Pediatric Hospitalist
EMR: Epic
Start Date: ASAP (Ongoing Coverage)
Credentialing Timeline: 45-120 Days
??? Schedule, Shift Breakdown & Rate Structure
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (In-house clinic/hospital rounds) + Overnight Beeper Call
Call Structure: Nightly call includes phone consults
APRN/PA Support: An APRN/PA provides primary evening call coverage
Shift Commitment: Preferred availability of one 7-10 day consecutive block per month (Priority given to candidates meeting this schedule)
Clinical Workload & Scope Daily Census: Average of ~11 patients combined across Pediatrics and the Nursery
Admissions: Typical volume of 1-3 admissions per 24-hour shift
Qualifications & Candidate Requirements Experience Level: Minimum 2 years of post-training Pediatric Hospitalist experience required (New graduates will not be considered)
Board Status: Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in General Pediatrics / Pediatric Hospital Medicine
Licensure: Active North Dakota State Medical License
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
