Job description
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 12 shifts/month
Practice Setting: Pediatric Emergency Department
Position Details:
30-bed pediatric emergency department
Approximately 55,000 annual patient visits
Collaborate with Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians, hospitalists, and subspecialty teams
Full scribe coverage
Pediatric ICU, CVICU, and NICU support
Teaching and mentorship opportunities with pediatric, emergency medicine, and family practice residents and Pediatric ER fellows
Child life specialists and pediatric social workers integrated into ER care
Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Board Eligibility must be within 5 years of residency
Current or recent inpatient hospital experience required
Fresh graduates and experienced physicians may be considered
Nevada medical license or willingness to obtain
DEA and CSR/CDS required prior to start
Local residency or willingness to relocate required
Visa sponsorship is not accepted
