Job description
Las Vegas, Nevada, Pediatrics Hospitalist Job Clinical Role: Seeking a full-time Pediatric Hospitalist to join our practice in Summerlin, NV. Outstanding opportunity to join a well-established Pediatric Hospitalist practice
At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months' worth of case logs from a hospital setting
2 Hospitalists inhouse during the day
Varied shifts - combination of in-house and call from home
34-bed pediatric floor covered by the 5-physician team of Pediatric Hospitalists
Pediatric floor average daily census of 24
12-bed PICU covered by our affiliated practice of Pediatric Intensivists
NICU and newborn nursery is managed by our affiliated Neonatology practice
Full-fledged children's hospital with well represented sub-specialties and a dedicated Pediatric ED
Academic affiliation with a pediatric residency program with opportunities to mentor, teach and train pediatric residents and medical students
Robust quality improvement program and opportunities for clinical research, if desired
At least 1 year of current inpatient Hospitalist work experience is required. Must be able to provide at interview the last 12 months' worth of case logs from a hospital setting
This is a full-time, permanent position that may require residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required. To be discussed at interview
Open to experienced providers and recent graduate candidates - TRULY Board Eligible within 5 years of eligibility and working toward Board Certification
Will not accept candidates with lapsed Board Certification who need to obtain it again
