REQUIRED PROCEDURES Newborn delivery attendance and neonatal care
Pediatric patient admissions from ER
Daily rounding on admitted pediatric patients
Management of inpatient pediatric conditions
24-hour in house call coverage
JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
Licenses: Active ND license or IMLC with LOQ
DEA: Active DEA certification
Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP
Malpractice - Clean Highly Preferred will look at dismissed cases
Duties & Responsibilities Provide comprehensive inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage including 24 hour call.
Attend newborn deliveries and provide neonatal care for all births.
Admit pediatric patients from the Emergency Department and manage their care.
Perform daily rounds on admitted pediatric patients, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high quality patient care.
