Locums - Pediatrics Hospitalist Winchester, Virginia Availability / CoverageStart Date: November 1, 2026Coverage Type: Per DiemSchedule: 24-hour rounding plus call from home/hotelBlock scheduling: AvailableDates needed: Nov 21-22 Nov 24-29 Dec 11-13 Dec 18-20 Dec 22-27 Dec 29-31 Licensure & Certification RequirementsRequiredBoard Certified in Pediatrics - REQUIRED Board Eligible candidates are NOT accepted Active Virginia Medical License - REQUIRED At least 6 months of clinical experience within the specialty - REQUIRED Must have been clinically active within the past 1 year - REQUIRED Clinical RoleExperienced Pediatric Hospitalist Care for patients on a 17-bed pediatric floor Provide coverage in the newborn nursery Approximately 2,400 annual deliveries Pediatric Floor Average Daily Census: 5Newborn Nursery Average Daily Census: 15Daytime support from Advanced Practice ProvidersCollaborate with pediatric subspecialists available onsite and through telehealthNICU services are also provided onsite Practice & SupportCommunity hospital settingFamily-centered careTeaching and interdisciplinary collaborationPediatric subspecialty support available through:University of VirginiaINOVAChildren's National Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
