Job description
Full-time, 100% FTE, day/evening/night shift. Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:00am – 3:00pm, rotating night and weekend on-call responsibilities. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.
Pay

Responsibilities
Provide cardiopulmonary life support for high acuity surgical procedures utilizing cardiopulmonary bypass and ECMO.
Support procedures in the Cath lab, Hybrid OR and Intensive Care Units.
Assist in the design of institutional protocols and provide continuing education of staff and operating room personnel.
Encourage and actively support the mission of the Cardiac Surgery, ECMO and Mechanical Circulatory Assist programs.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and graduate of Perfusion program – Required.
Master's Degree in related field – Preferred.
Work Experience
3 years of post-training clinical experience providing CPB for adult cardiac surgical procedures including coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve replacements, and aortic aneurysm repairs – Preferred.
Experience in providing CPB for cardiac transplantation, ventricular assist device implantation, and congenital pediatric procedures – Preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) as recognized by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) within 12 months – Required.
State of Wisconsin Licensure as a Licensed Perfusionist within 6 months – Required.
CPR certification within 3 months – Required.
Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) as recognized by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) – Preferred.
State of Wisconsin Licensed Perfusionist – Preferred.
