Palm Health Resources, a premier healthcare staffing firm, is currently seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a permanent position in Southeastern, VA. This opportunity involves treating Adult patients, in a Psychiatric inpatient setting. Patient population 18 plus
Active Virginia License preferred but not mandatory
The group prefers a candidate with experience but would consider a NEW GRAD
Duties include histories, prescribing medications and providing patient education
Schedule is 7 on and 7 off with a 7a-5p schedule
Must be able to work with autonomy at times but there will be Physicians and other NPs on staff
Patient volume is 8-12
