Pediatric Intensivist - Call From Home - 30 minutes from Beautiful Charleston, South Carolina
Responsibilities
Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to join our pediatric inpatient and critical care team at Summerville Medical Center (SMC) â”just 30 minutes from Charleston!
Your Clinical Scope 6-bed PICU with 2 observation beds
Level III NICU support
Telephone consult available with quaternary care center 45 minutes away
Inpatient pediatric floor + ER consults
In-house days, home call at night
Teaching opportunities with family medicine residents
Procedures include : intubations, LPs, line/chest tube placement, CPR
2024 Census : 373 pediatric admits, 85 PICU admits, ADC: 4.1
Subspecialty Support Onsite: Pediatric Surgery, GI, ENT, Anesthesia, Radiology
Telemedicine: Pediatric Cardiology
