Job description
Carle Health seeks a Child Life Specialist to support pediatric patients and families by providing education, preparations, procedural support, and therapeutic play. You will work with nursing to understand psychosocial impacts of hospitalization and assist families through early grief stages.
The role requires completion of ACLP courses, a 600-hour internship, and CCLS certification within 1 year, plus BLS within 30 days. Sign-on bonus offered. 40-hour weeks with rotating shifts in Urbana, IL.
