Overview
Trusted Health is seeking an experienced nurse for a travel assignment in the Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit.
This role enables nurses to apply directly to jobs without recruiters, providing transparency and potential cost savings.
Shift
Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience
24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the past 3 years.
Requirements
Candidates must have an Illinois license (required for submission).
This role will require floating to multiple units.
Local & travel allowed. Candidates living 12 months between Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - OSF HealthCare

Required Credentials
Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels.
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit
Ex- hyperbili, neuro, diabetes, failure to thrive, Cystic fibrosis, COVID, ortho.
Types of Patients on Unit
Medical/surgical.
Unit/Facility Details
Unit shared with Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. Occupies 22 beds on the unit and Peds Hem/Onc occupies 10 beds.
Shift & Scheduling
Holiday Requirement: Holidays are required unless discussed and approved during interview phase.
Call or Standby Requirement: Not mandatory at this time.
Floating Requirements
RNs can float within the children’s hospital - to other pediatric units; can float to mom/baby to take care of a baby assignment. No ICUs unless experienced; no chemo patients.
7 days maximum time off
1 reference from last 12 months (Charge/Lead reference type) - required for submission
1 reference from last 3 years (Any reference type) - required for submission
Driver’s license required for submission
