Culturally, it punches well above its weight with the Detroit Institute of Arts, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and a live music and dining scene rooted in genuine authenticity. Outdoor enthusiasts will find no shortage of options, from water sports and kayaking along the Detroit River to biking and hiking throughout the surrounding lakes region.
