Job description
Occupational Therapist (OT) | COTA – Pediatric
Pediatric Feeding Experience a Huge Plus
In Reach Therapy
Portland, OR or Salem, OR | Home & Community-Based
Full-Time or Part-Time
Immediate Start Available
We believe deeply in compassionate connection, collaboration with caregivers, and honoring the lived experiences of the families we serve.
Join Our Team at In Reach Therapy!
Are you looking for a workplace that values your clinical judgment, supports your growth, and gives you genuine autonomy? At In Reach Therapy, we put a radical amount of trust in our clinicians—no one is checking up on your every move. You decide what's medically necessary. You set the session frequency. You provide the full duration of therapy your clients need.
If you've spent your career chasing productivity metrics instead of meaningful outcomes, if "neurodiversity-affirming" feels more like a buzzword than a practice where you work—we built In Reach for you.
Compensation
$60,682 – $98,792 Total Compensation (varies by role & level)
Base salary: $53,000 – $90,000 depending on role (OT or COTA) and chosen level
Want more time off? River Levels offer up to 10.2 weeks PTO
Want higher income? Mountain Levels offer higher base with 5-7 weeks PTO
Bonuses: $30/hr at 97-100% of target | $50/hr over 100%
Retirement: 3% match monthly ($1,590-$2,700/year)
Healthcare: Medical/Vision through Moda ($5,292 value)
Stipends: $500 professional + $300 wellness annually
Field kit provided: Laptop, hotspot, clinical binder, backpack
13 paid holidays
What FairShare Means for You
You are given more PTO than you've likely ever seen before in a private practice setting
You are given a choice for how much you want to work/the salary you need rather than an ultimatum, "sink or swim" mentality
You are able to make more than your salary if you supersede the billable hour requirements for your chosen level
You can change your mind! Move to a different amount of work during the year (within boundaries)
You choose who you work with and what your work schedule looks like
You are provided trainings relevant to our unique model and setting throughout the year
You are given a voice in the direction of the company and your input is requested frequently and always valued
You are able to participate in community-building and develop programs for clients and employees alike
We Actually Reduced the Paperwork
We know paperwork and caseload are the top reasons therapists burn out. That's why we invested in AI-assisted documentation and keep caseloads manageable. Care delivered AS a service means Caregiver Education, Medical Team Conferencing – are billable—not unpaid extras eating into your evenings.
We understand that life can be unpredictable, so we offer multiple touchpoints to support our clinicians throughout the process. Weekly statistics provide regular updates on progress. One-on-one meetings offer personalized guidance and support. Our goal is to ensure that every clinician has the resources and assistance they need to succeed.
Quarterly trainings that count for CEUs. Book clubs. A shared materials library. Team adventures—wineries, hiking, baby goats, crafting. Our commitment to your well-being and success is at the heart of everything we do.
What You'll Do
Develop individualized treatment plans using dynamic, functional assessment—sensory, feeding, fine motor, ADLs, regulation—not just standardized testing
Provide Caregiver Education as a billable service (because family involvement drives real progress)
Collaborate through Medical Team Conferencing with interdisciplinary partners
Develop group offerings that reflect your clinical passions
Work in homes, community settings, and nature-based environments
What We're Looking For
Genuine passion for neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed care—not just familiarity, passion
Strong collaborator who builds real relationships with families
High integrity and excellent follow-through
Bonus: Pediatric feeding therapy experience
Bonus: Bilingual (Spanish especially valued)
Must live within 20-30 minutes of Portland or Salem or willing to relocate
Ready to Be Trusted?
At In Reach, our goal is to support your professional journey with compassion and innovation. We understand that life's demands can change, and we are committed to providing a system that respects and accommodates those changes. We strive to create an environment where you can thrive both professionally and personally.
