Job description

Job Details: Job Location: Georgetown - Georgetown, KY 40324, Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Join our Team!!

Pediatric Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Highly competitive compensation based on years of experience and related specialties

Full-time and part-time opportunities available

We have been doing this since 2013, and we have stayed strong and steady through every season. Pediatric therapy never stops changing. We have met each shift head on, kept our footing, and kept growing, adding new tools and building out specialty paths along the way. Because a therapist owns this company and not an outside investment firm, that growth gets chosen on purpose. That steadiness is part of why our team members stay 5, 8, and 10 years and still find room to grow.

“Marshall Pediatric Therapy is an incredible place to work and I plan to be here for many many years. The management and onboarding from day one is positive, uplifting, and geared for your benefit. I firmly believe that everyone in this company wants to see me succeed.” — Physical Therapist, Lexington

We are family-owned, built on a belief that you cannot care for a child without caring for the whole family around them. It takes a village, and for more than 2,000 families across Central Kentucky, Marshall has become part of that village. Pam Marshall, OTR/L, founded the practice and owns and runs it with her husband, Jim. We work by five values, love, excellence, happiness, family, and courage, and you feel them in how we treat each other and our families.

Whether you’re years into your career or just out of school, you’ll have room to grow, with discipline‑specific mentorship and clinical training ladders that give you a clear path forward. One of our team members said it simply: “There is a great mentorship program that is extremely helpful for new grads.”

A look at the benefits, most of them 100% employer-paid for full-time staff:

100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, life, direct primary care with no copays, and professional liability insurance

Up to 184 hours of PTO and holiday pay a year, growing with tenure, including a full week off at Christmas

Flexible scheduling, including a 4-day workweek option

AI-assisted documentation support

401(k) and Roth with up to a 4% company match, annual merit raises, and monetary or earn-back PTO monthly bonuses

CEU support up to $1,000 a year in reimbursement, up to 16 hours of CEU PTO, and in-house learning continuums

Up to 40 paid hours a year to serve on a volunteer Mission trip

EKU tuition discount through the EKU Advantage Program

You’re a good fit if:

You are an Occupational Therapist with a current Kentucky OT license and NBCOT certification or a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with a current Kentucky occupational therapy assistant license and NBCOT certification as a COTA

For the COTA role, you have a minimum of two years experience as a certified COTA, with pediatric experience preferred

You hold a current CPR and First Aid certification

You want to work with children ages 0 to 21 across a range of diagnoses, evaluating and treating as an OT or carrying out the plan of care under a supervising OT as a COTA

You like collaborating on a multidisciplinary team

You take pride in your caseload and want to see both your patients and your team grow

You communicate clearly with your team, with families, and in your documentation, and you coach parents through home carryover programs

Feeding experience is a plus, whether that is oral motor treatment, sensory-based feeding, texture and food progression, tube weaning, or work with infants and medically complex children

Training in a feeding approach such as SOS, Beckman, Talk Tools, food chaining, or TOTS is a plus

You have experience with, or interest in learning, telehealth

Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

We hire intentionally, because fit matters more than filling a seat. For candidates moving forward, the process includes a job shadow, time in the clinic to meet the team, ask questions, and get to know Marshall.
