We are seeking a Board Certified Pediatric Ophthalmologist for a locum tenens assignment providing inpatient NICU coverage in Texas.
Opportunity Details
December 2026 coverage
Monday-Friday schedule
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
No call required
Approximately 48 total hours needed
Inpatient setting
Cerner EMR
Responsibilities
Perform Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) screenings
Provide ophthalmology coverage for NICU patients
Inpatient rounding
Collaborate with nursing and neonatal care teams
Care for newborn patient population
Qualifications
Board Certified in Ophthalmology
Fellowship training preferred
Active Texas license required
Pediatric Ophthalmology experience required
ROP screening experience preferred
