Seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Ophthalmologist to join a growing Ophthalmology program in eastern North Carolina.
Highlights include:
Full-time, employed position
Hospital privileges
Opportunity available due to program expansion
Opportunity for academic appointment at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank
Responsibilities will include clinical practice, teaching of trainees and rotating call coverage
Opportunities for research
Children s hospital medical staff includes Pediatric Neurosurgery, Pediatric General Surgery, Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery, and Pediatric Plastic Surgery
Outpatient clinic conveniently located near hospital with state-of the art equipment
Ideal candidate will have a passion for advancing pediatric ophthalmology care, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to practice development within an academic setting
This position offers the opportunity to work in an innovative, collaborative environment while serving as a critical provider in a region with significant need for pediatric ophthalmology services
