UNC Health Pediatrics at Apex is hiring a Pediatrician (MD/DO)!
At UNC Health Pediatrics at Apex, the focus is taking care of kids from birth to 18 years of age. Located conveniently at Kelly Road and Olive Chapel Road near Publix and Olive Chapel Elementary School, they offer after-school appointments. Providers collaborate with parents to provide the highest level of personalized care to meet the needs of the family. The team is dedicated to treating the whole child. Compassionate, child-centered care is the mission.
Position Specifics:
Outpatient only
Adjunct faculty affiliation with UNC, teaching medical students in the clinic is possible

Clinic Hours:
Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Job Qualifications:
Medical School Graduate (MD/DO)
Board-certified pediatrics required
NC State License preferred
Must be eligible for credentialing
2-plus years of experience required

Education Requirements:
Meeting the Board Certification requirements. Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Board Certified in Specialty; MD License in healthcare specialty
DEA;MD;BLS
Professional Experience Requirements:
Prefer prior experience in Pediatrics.
Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.
REASONING ABILITYHigh-level quantitative and qualitative reasoning skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS certification. Board-certified in area of specialty.
