Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: NICU/PED experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Must be able to attend all high-risk deliveries. Must be able to set up mechanical ventilation for all sizes of NICU and PICU patients. Must be able to work in a pediatric ED, including intubations, mechanical ventilation setup and transport of critically ill patients. Ability to intubate patients of all sizes is a plus. Ability to set up inhaled nitric oxide inline on different respiratory equipment.
Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with Manager upon arrival at facility.
Unit Details: Patient population includes NICU, PICU, pediatric and ED patients. Procedures include intubations, arterial blood gas puncture, UVC, UAC and PAL line draws, heel sticks, and inline inhaled nitric oxide. Equipment includes Draeger, Hamilton T1 and C1, HFJV, HFOV, iNO, Bubble, Vapotherm, vest and cough assist.
Shift & Scheduling: Night-shift self-scheduling includes every other weekend, one major holiday and one minor holiday.
Floating Requirements: Floats to NICU or pediatrics; does not float to the adult side.
10 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• STABLE (Sugar, Temperature, Airway. Blood Pressure, Lab work and Emotional Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
