Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: 1+ year Neonatal or PICU Critical Care experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience managing patients on high-frequency ventilation, surfactant administration, and inhaled nitric oxide therapy.
Unit Details: The role includes independently admitting and managing vented patients in a Level 4 neonatal/NICU setting. Respiratory care includes setting up and managing invasive and non-invasive ventilation devices, including Bubble CPAP, high-flow therapy, inhaled nitric oxide, surfactant administration, attending high-risk deliveries, and managing high-frequency ventilation (HFOV and HFJV). Equipment includes Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, high-flow therapy, and heliox therapy.
10 days maximum time off
1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
Driver’s license required

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
