Job description

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.
• Trauma Level 1 experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Pediatric, neonate, and infant experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Special Requests: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on manager/unit needs. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with peak activity in August and September. If unavailable for emergency response duties, do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period. If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.
Unit Details: NICU Level 4 and pediatric cardiac setting. Neonate, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: Holiday rotation. Every other weekend. No call.
Floating Requirements: Floating within scope may be required depending on experience.
14 days maximum time off
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required
Proof of identification required
Certifications:
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
